The Certificate IV in OHS is now being suggested as the appropriate training for Safety Advisors by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland under the new harmonised WHS legislation.

Training is available via:

  • A five (5) day face to face course;
  • Self Paced Learning (Dist.Ed); or
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Do you hold a current Queensland Certificate of Authority as a Workplace Health & Safety Officer?

If you do, you’re now able to upgrade to the Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety!

Training available via:

  • A one (1) day workshop; or
  • Self Paced Learning (Dist.Ed); or
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Electrical Safety Awareness (non-electrical workers) 

 

This course is specifically designed to enable non-electrical workers to meet their legal obligations when working near overhead powerlines in Queensland. Satisfactory completion of this course will give workers the knowledge required by the Electrical Safety Act for them to be considered for approval as an “authorised person” by the person in control of the parts (powerlines).

Training available face to face or via distance education.

Distance education is a common choice for people who are unable to attend face to face training. AT&SI’s self paced, distance education benefits those who are unable to take time off work, live in a remote area or just require flexibility with their training requirements.
