Who needs this course?

This course is designed to cover the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to provide quality food and beverage service to customers in a range of hospitality industry enterprises. It does not focus on basic product knowledge about food and beverage.

Course outline:

  • Organise tasks and plan work flow
  • Manage the service cycle
  • Manage relationships with colleagues and customers

Prerequisites:

Students must be at least 18 years of age
Successful completion of SITHFAB009A - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol

Duration:

This training is conducted face to face over 5 hours.

This course is nationally accredited as (SITHFAB004A) Provide Food & Beverage Service.

Course outcome

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment.
